What is Google Workspace, and How Does it Work?

Let's introduce G-suit and it's transition to Google Workspace. Google Workspace cost is very affordable but how does it add value to your business?

When I first started building websites nearly 10 years ago, finding a solution that provided a professional email address for communication wasn’t so simple. It was common to purchase a solution for problem ‘A’ while buying a different resolution for problem ‘B.’ Here, you can find out more about what G Suite is and how does it work.

This group of apps allowed you to create professional emails from customized email addresses. A customized email address allowed you to use your business name and domain as your @email.com. It also included features for storing and sharing your files in one secure place with cloud storage. Now, it looks like everyone has an option for cloud storage.

But, it also gave you and your team the ability to collaborate on documents, spreadsheets, and presentations across devices. Real-time collaboration meant faster results. We all know how much speed means in any organization, whether small or large.

How Google Apps for Business Work

Here are some of the features of G Suite:

  • Business email through Gmail: Send and receive messages from your custom email addresses with your company name (@yourcompany.com). Add additional seats to create email aliases such as sales, info, or support@yourcompany.com.
  • Video and voice conferencing: Connect up to 25 people & easily hold virtual meetings with HD video calls by sharing a link.
  • Secure messaging: Send direct or group messages with Hangouts Chat for manageable team collaboration.
  • Shared calendars: easily schedule meetings with teammates using sharable calendars. Easy integration with Gmail to respond to events, attach files, and access Hangouts to hold video conferences.
  • Popular Business Tools: Create, edit, and share text documents, full spreadsheets, and attractive presentations across devices. Share files with teammates and work in the same file simultaneously—no more version control issues or emailing files back and forth.
  • 30GB Cloud storage: 30GB of cloud-based file storage per user I one secure place. Access files whenever needed from any device.

How Much Does Google G Suit Cost and How to Get a Google Suite Account?

Are you curious about how much does a Google business email cost? Right now, you can still purchase this a la carte deal for a whopping $72 per year, which is only $6 per month. You can sign up for the G Suite promo here (now known as Google Workspace Starter). This is an excellent deal for a solopreneur as the price covers one seat. Did you notice the ‘a la carte’ deal?

That’s because we’ve created a package for freelancers that offer services to businesses. It’s called Agency Essentials. It is basically a set of tools to help you build your website, sync your business listings across directories for more visibility, and design a logo.

If you're ready to start sending emails from your domain name, click the button below to gain access to this deal. Please note: this is not an affiliate link. The button below and other links on this page will secure your G Suite  annual subscription for as low as $6 per month.

What Is Google Workspace?

Just recently, Google announced a change to its popular suite of apps. Google Workspace is replacing G Suite with a brand new user experience and a set of offerings to better equip you for the future of work.

The improvements may have been influenced by so many organizations transitioning their employees to working from home. In any case, let’s cover some of the changes so you’ll know what to expect. It is apparent that we are experiencing unprecedented times, and Google is evolving to stay relevant.

For example, educational institutions are transitioning to online training but understanding the power of human interaction or the lack thereof, Google is proactively reinforcing social connections.

Efficient Work Environments with Google Workspace

One of the features they are rolling out is Meet picture-In-picture. The new feature lets you see and hear the people you are working with and collaborating with. They will be rolling this feature out to google docs, sheets, and slides! This means that students and work together while writing essays or creating presentations.

But you don’t have to have an education account to use this. It is an attractive asset for a small business to use as well.

Many of us are multitasking from home. What does that look like? Perhaps upholding the same duties that you usually would if you were in the office while also acting as your child’s home school teacher. Needless to say, every minute counts, down to the seconds it might take to open an email attachment in a new tab.

Now, Google services let you preview linked files without needing to open a new tab for viewing. I don’t know about you, but for me, every delay in opening a new tab is another opportunity for distractions from getting my work done.

G Suite is the New Google Workspace

In summary, Gogle Workspace for small businesses, Workspace has a set of tailored offerings to simplify your tasks while keeping it cost-effective. For Google Workspace Business Standardaccounts with advanced capabilities such as unlimited storage, they’ve added additional productivity features.
